It is a privilege and honour to write to you as Editor in Chief of the PCR Textbook. The PCR Textbook has become established as a leading reference for high-quality, evidence based, up-to-date information for interventional cardiology practice. The textbook is accessed by more than 200,000 users worldwide. It has a readership that is broad and diverse with a mix of readers from fellows in training through to early career practitioners, as well as an established base of experienced interventionists.
The textbook and its content has been curated and crafted since inception in May 2012 by my renowned predecessors as Editors in Chief, supported by a hard-working backroom team ably assisted by a team of deputy editors and chapter reviewers. Individual chapter topics span the entire spectrum of contemporary interventional cardiology practice. A key strength is the expertise and depth of knowledge of its individual chapter authors, all of whom are key leaders in the field and unrivalled subject matter experts in their sub specialty field.
I am delighted to be joined by three pre-eminent deputy editors, Piera Capranzano, Franz-Josef Neumann and Fabien Praz, motivated and hard-working, with the aim of bringing you continuous and timely updates on the most...
