Objective
to determine whether early discontinuation of aspirin at 1 month post-PCI with continuation of P2Y12 inhibitor monotherapy is non-inferior to 11-month DAPT for net clinical events and superior for bleeding in selected low-risk acute myocardial infarction patients after complete revascularisation with Firehawk stents
Study
prospective, open-label, multicentre, randomised controlled trial
Population
AMI patients with low bleeding risk after complete revascularisation with Firehawk DES
Endpoints
composite of all causes of death, myocardial infarction, stent thrombosis, stroke, major or fatal bleeding (MACCE) at 11 months

Conclusion
Early aspirin discontinuation (after 1 month) with continued P2Y12 inhibitor monotherapy was non-inferior to standard 11-month DAPT for MACCE and significantly reduced clinically relevant bleeding in low-risk AMI patients after complete revascularisation.
