8. Revascularisation strategy in ACS

FFR-guided complete or culprit-only revascularisation in NSTEMI and multivessel disease

SLIM
Objective
to compare FFR-guided complete revascularisation of non-culprit lesions vs culprit-only revascularisation in patients with NSTEMI and multivessel disease
Study
prospective, investigator-initiated, multicentre, randomised trial
Population
patients with NSTEMI and multivessel disease after successful culprit-lesion PCI with at least one non-culprit stenosis 50% suitable for revascularisation
Endpoints
composite of all-cause death, non-fatal myocardial infarction, any revascularisation and stroke at 1 year
Conclusion
In NSTEMI patients with multivessel disease, FFR-guided complete revascularisation, when compared with culprit-only revascularisation, resulted in a significant reduction in the composite of all-cause death, non-fatal myocardial infarction, any revascularisation and stroke at 1 year.
