to report the long-term clinical outcomes of an invasive versus conservative strategy for the treatment of NSTEMI patients in older people
Study
prospective, multicentre randomised study
Population
patients aged ≥ 80 years with NSTEMI
Endpoints
composite of MI, urgent revascularisation stroke and death during median follow-up 5.3 years
Conclusion
in patients aged ≥ 80 years with NSTEMI an invasive strategy was superior to a conservative strategy in the reduction of adverse events during median 5.3-year follow-up
